2014年3月11日 · It has left me with right inferior homonymous quadrantanopia. When the stroke happened I initially had hemiopia, but within hours that settled to quadrantanopia. Since then I have definitely seen an improvement (around about the 1-2month mark) with the peripheral vision out at the side, but I still have an area of vision loss nearer the centre.

2014年3月11日 · ‘Where the driver has obvious field defects such as a homonymous hemianopia or quadrantanopia then no confusion arises and the licence is refused’. This statement is incorrect! Also with modern technology and driverless cars surely there are adaptations that could be made to make driving possible. Good luck to everybody Anne

2014年1月6日 · I suffered an intracerebral brain hemorrhage in my left occipital lobe on 14th Nov 2013 which has left me wth right inferior homonoymous quadrantanopia. When the bleed initially occurred I felt I was suffering with hemiopia, but within a few hours this seemed to improve to quadrantanopia.

2022年2月28日 · My husband lost his licence in 2014 after a stroke impaired his peripheral vision - quadrantanopia. We're applying to DVLA for it to be reinstated under exceptional circumstances, but we don't know where to go to get confirmation that he meets the criteria. Can anybody help with this, please. 2023年11月14日 · As background I had a mini stroke (TIA) which transformed into an haemorrhagic stroke. This left me with a loss of vision on my right side (quadrantanopia). This was because the brain stroke was emanating from the left hand side, I believe. Just the other evening my wife said to me, 'I literally just said what you said...you never listen to me!!'
