My FE 3080 will keep itself around 75 in a wide range of power draws. It just adjusts the fan speeds and frequencies as temps rise/fall. Also, in most games your not going to be under full load. You would need to uncap your fps / disable vsync, and possibly utilize the tensor/RTX cores to max your power budget

My 3090 FE is rock stable at 0.85v / 1950mhz locked. Results in like 60c at 50% fan speed and power draw dropped down to 250-270w which takes out a LOT of heat from my room compared to the 350w stock.

I took my 3090 FE apart in minutes, it's quite easy. The only guide I had seen up to that point was the Igor's lab teardown. I took it apart to check pad thickness and to see if my card had pads... The thing stays at 110c even with me adding copper heatsinks on the backplate and two noctua fans pulling/pushing air on the card.

2020年10月8日 · I haven't used the RTX 3090 FE in a different computer, it won't even fit in the old PC. What I did do is use my old GTX 1080 FE in both the old computer and new computer (so also old PSU and new PSU) and it never experienced any coil whine.

2021年7月29日 · From my experience replacing the pads on a 3080 FE and 3080 FTW3 with Gelid Extreme, the GPU core to hotspot delta should lower after a few days of use (perhaps longer if its light use).
