What are some uses for the D30, D24, and other odd dice : r/rpg
2015年8月17日 · Some of those are probably Zoochi dice, named for the man who started the GameScience precision dice company. The most popular RPG I can think of that uses a large number of "nonstandard" dice is Dungeon Crawl Classics. This game is also noteworthy for taking the old concept of a Level Zero character and introducing it to The Funnel.
How to simulate a d30... ? : r/rpg - Reddit
For your d30, you could roll percentile dice, and simply reroll anything that is above 30. You can also map things on multiple times- for instance, you could decide to roll percentile dice, and have 1-30 be 1-30, subtract 30 from anything from 31 to 60, subtract 60 from anything 61 to 90, and reroll anything 91 or above.
Found this old thing. Has 30 sides. What even is? : r/rpg - Reddit
2013年2月5日 · Just as many d10 dice are numbered with a 0 instead of a 10 (but you still count it as a 10), the -0 is a 10, the 0 is a 20, and the +0 is a thirty, for many uses of such a die. The d20 version of that would often be used for 1-20 even though its numbers are only 0 through 9 and +0 through +9, because the 0 is counted as 10 and the +0 is ...
30 Day Pass (4 Sided Dice Enthusiast) : r/IdentityV
2021年11月29日 · The reason you got 4 per day is because of the 1 free daily dice + the 3 from the dice pass, so 4 daily in total :) Reply reply CrustyAppleTater
r/DnD on Reddit: 30 sided die actual distribution
2017年4月9日 · 30-sided dice are not actually perfectly symmetrical, because while they do have 30 equally-sized faces, each vertex has either 5 or 3 connecting faces. (This means that if you were to superimpose one face for another, a 6-sided die would fit exactly, but a 30-sided die would only match about half the time.)
The percentile die. : r/DMAcademy - Reddit
2022年8月15日 · Percentile dice, or d100, work a little differently. You generate a number between 1 and 100 by rolling two different ten-sided dice numbered form 0 to 9. One die (designated before you roll) gives the tens digit and the other gives the ones digit. If you roll a 7 and a 1, for example, the number rolled is 71. Two 0s represent 100.
Is there a 36 sided die that represents rolling 2 d6?
I've only seen a 30-sided die, not 36. It's not to difficult to figure out the chance of the sum of 2d6. The chances of a 7 is 6 in 36. For a value different than 7 the chances out of 36 is one less than 6 for the difference between it and 7. The chance of a 5 is 4 in 36 because 5 is 2 away from 7. 6 - …
Fair 102-sided dice out of a Dodecahedron: Is this doable and …
2023年4月26日 · As a bonus question, I would also like to know if it is possible to make fair 30-sided die and a fair 50-sided die using two decahedrons made from almost regular octahedrons via cutting the top and bottom balancing points on those octahedrons off.
What or how or where to roll 2d30 to have middle of 30 and not 31?
2023年1月8日 · The easiest want to do what you're asking would be a 61-sided die, but that wouldn't give a bias towards the middle like two dice. To retain the kind of distribution you get with 2d30, you need d31+d30-1 Possible solutions for a range 1-60 (but a median of 30.5) with an even distribution
I designed some dice and am looking for game suggestions that
Kind of like the three 30 sided dice I got 30 some years ago. I haven't used them in at least 25 years. I had friends with 100 sided dice at that time. We used them for a few sessions of D&D but they did end up being more hassle than we wanted to deal with. (We did not know about dice trays at that point; I don't know if they had been ...
