2020年1月19日 · Seriously need your help here. I recently replaced my battery on my 2012 Acura MDX. I looked at the Radio code and followed the instructions and it is not working. I entered it 10 times it locked me out and then left the vehicle ON for 1 hr. Retried the code again and it is still not working. I am out of loss on what to do.

2015年5月20日 · Acura Radio / Navigation Code Retrieval and Reset Instructions Tried the full serial number & VIN, and it does work. The most frustrating part is the lack of responsiveness from the dealers, not able to get a live person, and no one ever returns phone calls or e-mails.

2018年2月6日 · Then you can hold the power button for 2 seconds and it auto-enters the correct code. Apparently, if you don't let the computers boot up from a cold sleep, or you don't start the engine and let it idle for a minute then the power-button-send-code trick does not work. I think Acura could have been more specific in their documentation...

2013年8月11日 · I've never had a vehicle before that had radio/nav units that would disable themselves like this and was actually surprised to learn the MDX has such a system and that on some Acura vehicles there can be a catch-22 where you need the serial number of the unit to retrieve the code but can't get the serial number in some cases without taking the unit out of the dash, which isn't a simple task ...

2018年5月19日 · The current Acura MDX store the code internally and verify they are in the correct car. The codes are used only in the rare instance when they fail to detect properly. The procedure is completely different than earlier Acura cars. You don't need to involve the dealer or Acura. You don't get an ID card like before.

2018年1月7日 · Now we can not activate the GPS or radio because the code for the anti-theft does not work. I've entered it repeatedly and there is no feedback, sound or alert that the code is being entered, or even a message that it is incorrect. We bought the car CPO, and got the card with the manual, so all I can do is assume its the correct card/code.

2023年1月10日 · Go to the official Acura website www.acura.com once there go under owners and my garage. You set up a profile. You then enter your vin and serial number. It should appear or call this number 1(800) 999-1009 and they'll give it to you over the phone. However, you'll need the Vin and serial numbers.

2018年7月29日 · the radio code is only used if the normal way fails. The code can be gotten from Acura on the owner's website if you register with the owner information. That said, you push the power button for two or three seconds and the code is pulled from the car memory automatically.
