Jul 23, 2023 · I recently went through the IMDb top 250 list and was surprised to see Aladdin (1992) squeaking in at the bottom. I think it comes down to it being one of those rare film examples that is more than the sum of it's parts. Lots of good aspects come together and despite some shortcomings it's highly entertaining for different audiences.

Jan 18, 2022 · I can remember an often-mentioned blooper that when The Genie meets Aladdin, he sings the song "Friend Like Me" with the line: Mr. Aladdin sir, what will your pleasure be?" And then after the song is over, he asks Aladdin what his name is. I just watched the movie again this morning, and I'm pretty sure that they had moved the "What's your name?"
