2009年12月2日 · We have a debate going on in our office, I think the minimum width for an annular plate is 24 from the inside of tank shell as stated on API-650 Section 5.1.5.4, but my co-worker thinks you can use 12 min. distance from the inside of the shell and this brought up a couple of questions. 1. what is the definition of an annular plate?

On a tank that doesnt have an annular ring, the bottom plates will extend from underneath the tank shell. Minimum bottom thickness of floor, annular plate and critical zone
2009年11月20日 · If I apply these rules to below example I get some strange results, where I end up with a higher minimum required thickness for the annular plate as for the critical zone. What ever the outcome should be, to me it does not make sense that the critical zone is allowed to be thinner than the annular plate. Example: Tank details H15.6 m 51.18 feet
