I invoked Siri for messages, phone calls, Apple Music requests and questions to answer, any one of which could have crashed it in the past, but I had no issues today.

Came across a thread that said the issue was the cable. I purchased an "Anker Car Carplay Cable for iPhone 15/16/16 Pro Max/Plus, USB A to USB C Flow Cable" and the problem was solved.

2021年4月12日 · I'm having a weird issue - just got a 2021 Murano, first car with CarPlay. Music, Audiobooks, Podcasts, etc all work fine, but anything relating to a voice response, i.e. Siri, navigation prompts (tried Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, same on all), text messages being read - the voice response almost always has static and is crackly/garbled.

2024年9月25日 · Messages is no longer available to select in CarPlay after receiving the iOS 18 update. I have reset CarPlay (removed the cars from it). Still not there. Now when attempting to use it in the car, it tells me to go download an app that supports this function. UGH. Help please!

2023年1月12日 · The same command to my Apple Watch works fine. Also, I can tell Siri to close the garage door in CarPlay, and that works as well. I’m really disappointed in losing the button on my CarPlay dash because that was the easiest, fastest, and most reliable way for me to open the garage door from the car.

2024年12月21日 · CarPlay sync issues on iPhone 15 after iOS 18.1 update I have an iPhone 15 and since I’ve down loaded iOS 18.1 the Apple CarPlay does sync with the Apple Phone & Message apps on my phone. The Apple Music & Message apps work fine as they did before 18.1.
