2010年9月16日 · Carrying a big revolver like a 686 or gp100 concealed is not very feasible. Those are the two best revolvers though, in my opinion (outside of the smith custom shop at least). My girlfriend carries a smith & wesson jframe and is happy with it. It is a .38 though. My advice to you before buying a small .357 is to shoot someone elses.

A revolver with a 4 inch barrel absorbs a lot of recoil caused with firing a revolver. The shorter the barrel the more recoil you'll have or feel.

2020年2月26日 · 16" is just fine. the contender and ruger both have scopes. the winchester has a peep sight. All are more accurate than I am. I'm a big fan of the round. When added to a rifle is is just fine for all North American game. That said, the largest animal that I have shot with a 357 was a 250# wild boar that my dogs had cornered. 158 Gr cast SWC.

2009年10月4日 · Israeli Arms makes a Desert Eagle semi-auto in .357 if you don't care for a revolver. Some would prefer .44 mag. You can get it as a lever gun or a tube fed semi and use .44 special for plinking. .45 long Colt is also available in revolver and lever gun. I order my plinking ammo in bulk from Sportsman's Guide. Still pretty cheap.
