Best DPI for Gaming Mouse? | TechPowerUp Forums
2010年10月22日 · I have just purchased a Razer Mamba wireless gaming mouse. It's top DPI is 5600. However, when I opt to use this DPI the cursor simply flies around all over the place and is far too unwieldy for FPS gaming. Only when I lower things to around 2500 DPI, do I get the sensitivty required and in truth, I could probably do with lowering this further.
What mouse DPI setting do you use in FPS games?
2023年3月8日 · Using a 27" 1440p display, i set my DPI sensitivity options to 1200-1600-1800-2000 and toggle between them whilst gaming depending on the style of play (mostly fast paced FPS MP titles). What sensitivity settings do you guys use? My razer basilisk v3 goes all the way up to 26000 and i can't even manage 2600 whilst gaming - what gives?

Can someone explain to me DPI on a mouse versus mouse
2012年5月27日 · think of the DPI as the accuracy of the sensor, and the sensitivity slider as a multiplier for the speed. so a mouse with a DPI of 100 set to 10x via software, would move the same speed but jerkier and more prone to 'twitching', than a mouse with 1000 DPI. personally i never change off 800 DPI, i've just grown used to 800 dpi at default mouse ...

Corsair Harpoon RGB Mouse Review - Closer Examination
2016年11月11日 · I find a stiffer mouse wheel to be better for gaming since it allows you to switch weapons easier, but it does mean it struggles a little bit more in an office environment. Directly behind the scroll wheel is another button; by default, this button cycles through five DPI settings – 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, and 6000 DPI – but the value can be ...

2024年2月16日 · Ive tried loads of diff settings on the mouse to no avail, reinstalling the software, using the mouse with and without the software, changing dpi and report rates, going thru all the windows mouse settings & spent a couple of hours googling the problem, nothing has fixed the problem. Strangely my G305 does not have this problem, so im baffled.

Endgame Gear OP1 8K | TechPowerUp Forums
2024年6月28日 · The only way to get 1:1 mouse input to any application that doesn't sample raw mouse values is to use that middle mouse speed setting in Windows, which means 800-1600cpi is a reasonable range for working on 1080p to 4K displays for me, especially with the large number of games that still use the Windows cursor positioning for menus or UI elements.
