For Blackwoods campsites, 90 percent of campsites are released six months in advance on the first of each month at 10 am EST.

Blackwoods Campground is located in Acadia National Park on the Maine coast and has 275 campsites (61 RV non-electric and 214 tent only). Group camping is also available. The campground has a dump station, flush toilets, hot showers and an amphitheater. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Cell service is fair in the area.
