2009年5月30日 · Buff Orpingtons are very weather hardy. I have 9 myself. They have a lot of fluff to keep em warm. Like teach1 said, as long as you have a draft free shelter they should be fine.

I would just say that if you have the patience for growing a traditional DP bird out for meat, a Buff Orpington should be a fine choice. We do Delawares or Delaware-based crosses, and they work great for us.
