2011年12月14日 · My 2005 Jeep Liberty decides after driving around a bit not to start. Battery is fine. And it will start again -- so far -- after 20+ minutes; but I wonder if one time it won't. Service dept has checked it when it is working and says to bring it in when it won't start - that's not helpful.

2024年12月14日 · The other day I drove to the store no problems, got out and saw "Service Keyless System" message. I didn't think much other than I would need to change the battery or something. I came back out, unlocked the door and went to push the start button. All electrical systems came on (seats, AC, media, etc.), but the engine didn't even try to start up.

2023年3月12日 · I have to wait for about 10 seconds for the “hold brake to start” message to come back to successfully start it. Also, the stop/start hasn’t functioned properly, not starting back up after stopping, leaving me stalled at an intersection on multiple occasions. I have an appt. With the dealership but it’s a couple weeks out still.

2022年9月17日 · When vehicle comes to a stop and goes idle/off (due to stop/start), I release my foot from the break to turn the engine back on, the vehicle will shut off completely, turn back on, will not move forward until I shift into "Park" then back into "Drive" and an "A" in a circle with an exclamation mark (stop/start symbol) will pop up on the dashboard.

2020年9月13日 · Completely random. I push the button (no option in the '17 to key start) and everything turns on but the engine. I wait for a while - sometimes up to an hour - and it starts. I believe it has something to do with the outside temp and the components that make the car start. Today it was 60 degrees, and it only took about 20 minutes to start.

2019年2月10日 · Before hitting the remote start there is about 9 volts. After hitting the remote start and waiting approx. 30 seconds it drops to 1.6 volts. Would anyone be able to explain why this happens? And if anyone has found a solution to this hood ajar issue please let me know! Thanks

I am driving and the car starts running poorly, maybe misfiring, and I get a message in the instrument cluster stating that there is a problem with the auto start-stop system and is accompanied by the check engine light illuminating.

2018年9月19日 · I took the car to my mechanic this week to look at the start button issue. Strangely, he was able to both start and stop the engine by sticking his finger into the hole where the button was. He said it was almost as if the button mechanism doesnt push the ignition device in far enough. But the button used to work so I cant imagine what changed.
