A typical cloud-to-ground flash lowers a path of negative electricity (that we cannot see) towards the ground in a series of spurts. Objects on the ground generally have a positive charge.

2020年3月22日 · $\begingroup$ There is a very good indication that this is not an actual Ground To Cloud lightning but a combination of positive and negative Cloud To Ground lightning. Don't be tricked by the upward direction of the light and the flash in the Cloud a little bit later. Remember that the lightning started with a large flash in the Cloud.!!
