I can go three layers on the tower assembly, but it gets a bit shakier than what they advertise on TV, so I deploy webbing tie down straps to snug up the assembly. Always have to attach to structure, especially when you start going up to level 2.

Mar 15, 2017 · You are under estimating the needed scaffolding to do this wall. Width needs to be 12' min. with three sets of uprights, and should be 20' feet high. If you can find steel scaffolding, you would need 12 upright frames and 16 cross bars. A couple 16' x 2 x 10's or 12's to walk on.

Jan 11, 2011 · If you hired me to do the job, I would just rent the scaffolding. Very inexpensive to rent. Most good rental places will have it. To go 16' you will need 6 frames, 4 safety braces, and 2 aluminum plank. You can rent it cheaper then you can buy the 2x4's. Scaffolding is nothing to mess around with. do not build your own.

Normal Baker frame does not have any cross bracing unlike the 5x6 scaffolding. Leaving the straps on outside for an extended period of time taking a beating from the sun and weather... probably not a good ...
