2018年10月4日 · Nice find! I still believe Doom 2016 took place after Doom 64 (which was kinda Classic Doom 3). The lone marine who became a demon hunter in Doom 1-3 decided to stay in Hell after Doom 64. Considering hell being a timeless and universe covering dimension it might touch earth's timeline in different episodes.

According to Doom Eternals lore the Slayer got the Crucible after leaving the god machine on Argent D'Nur. He became the beast the demons fear. He punished man-born (e. g. civil wars on Argent D'Nur and corrupted humans) and demon beings.

I’m guessing that he’s the Betrayer based off of the Argent script on his armor and the symbol that bears a striking resemblance to the Mark of the Slayer, which could easily make him a former member of the Night Sentinels rather than a death clone or something.

2025年1月9日 · I also noticed looking at the gameplay footage that the Doom Slayer has a heavier impact when jumping off of someplace and landing. I don't know if there'll be any potential gameplay related to that or if it's just a cool use of playstation rumble.

2021年3月24日 · Pulling out the Mobile Turret and unleashing a blistering hail of bullets. Hearing that slight hum as the barrels glow white hot. All while the Cyber Demon is shooting back at you. Then pulling out the BFG when you see that you're being targeted by the Cyber Demon's own large gun with the laser pointing at you as he raises his arm. Pure ADRENALINE.
