User then sends the email to whomever; Upon review of the sent email, the drawing canvas is now blank, as if the attachment of the image was not sent with the email. 2024年10月15日 · I doubt that you really need to use a Drawing Canvas. However, set the text layout for the Drawing Canvas so that it is In-line with text. You may want to go to File>Options>Advanced>Cut, copy, and paste and from the Insert/paste pictures as dropdown, select "In line with text" Yes, it's set in-line with text.

I clicked on the first item in the list, "Add a Drawing to a Document."

If you don't want to make use of connectors, which are a feature of the drawing canvas, perhaps it would be easier not to make use of a drawing canvas in this instance. Position the shapes/objects separately on the page instead.

However, the bad news is that you will see that MOST of the capability for drawing has been removed from Word 2011. I agree with you, in normal corporate work, I can find no use for the stuff in the SmartArt tab, but I use the old drawing tools constantly.
