What waders?? | Duck Hunting Forum
Nov 30, 2024 · The Tidewe Deepwade Waders are on sale for $390 right now. Front zip and come with a limited lifetime warranty. Had I seen the sale earlier, I would have likely purchased them over the High n Dry front zip waders I ended up buying. I actually purchased 3 pair of Tidewe breathable waders for my girls 4 years ago. None leak.
USIA waders review - Duck Hunting Forum
Oct 2, 2013 · For me it just seemed like neoprene waders just never last the seems are just prone to leaking after stretching and contracting a bunch. Plus all the better waders made macks, lacrosse, or cabelas are not much less than the USIA's. I figured if I was gonna spend 200-300 for good waders I was going to give that money towards American jobs.
Hunt in Simms Waders? | Duck Hunting Forum
Jan 2, 2016 · I love my Simms waders, but I froze hunting in deep water in November and December last year. We're talking cold water next to an ice shelf though. Mine are stocking foot, and the boots are always a pain to get on and off when it's cold. I might buy a set of their boot foot waders, great stuff and great service from what I hear.

Jan 8, 2022 · I use stocking foot waders for fly fishing. I recently needed breathable waders for duck hunting and went with the Rogers Toughman 2.0 with the built in boot. The thing I like about these is they have a zip out insulated lining. That way I can take it out for early season and put in for late season. I also prefer the built in boot vs the ...

Nov 3, 2018 · I duck hunt, trap and occasionally fish in my waders and got 3 years out of the old mags and I made a mistake not just getting another pair right away. Hopefully I get 3 or more years out of these. I will say this though I did try on a pair of Banded breathable waders and they felt amazingly comfy in the store and seemed to be very well made.
Which Waders in Florida? - Duck Hunting Forum
Jan 29, 2013 · This. I wear winter pants like duck dawg mentioned, underneath a pair of insulated fleece underwear, Underneath a pair of fleece insulated duck hunting pants. I use ankle Gators to keep everything from riding up when I put my waders on. Couple that with wool socks and toasty toes and your warm into sub freezing temperature.
Layers for under waders - Duck Hunting Forum
Jun 9, 2015 · No cotton, like others have said. Cheap fleece from Old Navy is better than any sweat pants. You want 100% polyester fleece. You take off your waders and cotton will be damp or wet. With fleece the waders will be damp or wet inside and you will be dry. I do a lot of late season hunting when there is snow, ice, and cold into the teens.
Wader Repair - Duck Hunting Forum
Jan 9, 2019 · Bought new Drake breathable waders recently. Love them but a burr on the old duck boat snagged and tore a small hole just above the boot line. The waders come with a repair kit that includes a iron patch and some glue. Instructions are to apply glue to the leaky area inside the waders and then iron on the patch.
Bibs vs. Waders... - Duck Hunting Forum
Dec 8, 2011 · Go to cabelas, footwear, waders, hunting waders, and buy a pair. If you are in the south or are warm bodied buy breathables, if you live in the north or are cold blooded buy neoprene. (I live in NY but like breathables). Bibs are for if you hunt out of a boat, a field blind, or a nice blind were other people set decoys and get your dead ducks.
Simms Waders - Duck Hunting Forum
May 28, 2013 · I have used Simms waders for many years they are the best breathable waders money can buy. They are expensive but last a long time and are made in the USA. The knee area is real thick I think five layer thickness so are plenty strong for duck hunting.
