2022年5月12日 · I spent way too much time searching the internet for reviews of various wallets, often turning to reddit, and while many were helpful, some just weren’t as in depth as i would have liked, so here is the review i wish i would have found when shopping for wallets and considering the Ekster Aluminum Cardholder.

2020年7月11日 · The closest alternative to the Parliament is the Secrid Slim wallet. I have that one too and it uses thick full-grain leather. Ekster uses top-grain. The Secrid uses a lever whereas the Ekster is a sliding push button. Take a look at the Fidelo Hybrid, too. I haven't tested that one but it looks interesting.

2023年1月24日 · Cons- Cards did not stay fixed in holder. When I pulled out the wallet the cards would slide out, in one case a card simply fell out of the case when I was in a parking lot. -Scratched my cards. My metal apple card had multiple scratches on it after using this wallet for 2 days, and now gets a chip malfunction.

Apparently, they don't do returns on wallets they deem "defective". It's in their policy. After a little back and forth, they gave me a partial refund. They refunded me the subtotal of the wallet, but not the tax I paid on it. I'm stuck with a flimsy, cheap, stained wallet I don't want that I paid tax on.

2022年9月12日 · Also , Secrid is designed and made in Holland whereas Ekster is designed in Holland but made in China. Ekster’s card ejection system is really smooth and has been reliable for me over the several years. The slider button on the Ekster slides in one direction and is super easy to eject cards with one hand. I really love the trigger action.

2019年8月24日 · Quality: 2/5 ekster secrid 5/5 Ekster quality compared to the secrid is by far cheap. The button is thin (hence the button breaking issues) but even on a 3.0 update? C’mon. After almost 2 years ive had no issue with the secrid Cardholder is slimer but holds less cards. Had to remove one card from secrid’s usual stash to fit in my ekster.

2022年11月12日 · Haha i missed out on the kickstarter and first launch of the groove wallet. In the year since, I've looked at grip6, ekster, fantom, ridge, etc. I've wanted this for so long, and finally saw it went back in stock and love it. And yep, the leather sleeve is great for having my ID in it. I keep every other card in the actual wallet.
