I'm also learning that there is some significant weight loss with the pre-op diet, the duration of which seems to vary from clinic to clinic. We would speak atleast once a week while she was doing her pre-surgery diet just to see how she was doing up until she went to Mexico and made sure she was safe after surgery and being in Mexico. When she was back in the states we kept up with the once a week phone calls so I knew how she was progressing.
