Glamis Castle is the ancestral home of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. When she was born Elizabeth’s parents were Lord and Lady Glamis. Her father, Claude, was heir to the ancient Scottish Earldom of Strathmore and Kinghorne.

Glamis Castle is now closed for the winter and will re-open on 19th March, 2025.
