If present, under "Allowed to use your microphone," next to "https://meet.google.com:443," click Delete . Refresh the Google Meet page. When prompted, grant camera and microphone access. Allow microphone access on other browsers. Allow Safari to access your microphone. Allow Firefox to access your microphone.

If a user is muted, you'll see Mute on next to their profile image. Make sure the microphone or speaker is not muted on their device, such as in the system settings or through a mute button.

Select the correct camera, not an external monitor or other attached devices. Learn how to connect your video and audio. Check if your camera works in other apps, like FaceTime on macOS or the Camera app on Windows 10. Then, make sure no other apps currently access your camera. Close any other app that uses the camera, then reload Google Meet.

2020年6月5日 · The system microphone (or anything plugged into the microphone port) does not work in Google Meet in Chrome or Firefox. The system microphone does work in Zoom, voice recorder and other programmes.. I had the system on windows, and then switched to Ubuntu, the problem persists.

2024年1月26日 · Using Google Meet in a different browser with the same microphone works just fine. I've tried Chrome and Opera - both work as expected. On my other PC, a laptop, Google Meet with the same version of Firefox works just fine.

2021年5月6日 · In my Google Meet settings, I always use the "Headphones - AirPods" setting as my Speaker and I use an external mic as my Microphone (because the mic on my AirPods never works on my computer anyways) but after the update this is all I see (attached below).
