If Automatic Weights add more vertex groups than just the head, it would be simpler to just assign all vertices to the head bone's vertex group manually. This will allow you to pose the armature and the hair mesh will follow the head, without merging the objects.

2017年3月14日 · OPs mesh isn't enclosed so there's no actual volume to emit from. I'm surprised that it emitted any hair at all. There were good mesh faces and that fixed the problem. The Free edit option was necessary and, given that no more hair was going to be added under the settings as they were, keeping the particle changes was pointless. $\endgroup$ –

While animating the object the hair stays in place, shouldn't it follow the emitter and the bones? Or do I have to add bones for the hair somehow as well?
