At present, the Fund of the former Museum of V.I. Lenin contains 470 paintings and 843 sculptures, as well as 5590 items from the graphics collection. The collection of paintings includes portraits of V.I. Lenin and the Ulyanov family, I.V. Stalin and other figures of the Soviet state.

These drawings are the most iconic in the pictorial Leniniana. Throughout the Soviet period, their reproductions were printed in millions of copies. They were on banners and posters, hung in offices and schools; they were printed on badges and various souvenir products not only in the USSR, but all over the world.

Isaac Brodsky created an extensive gallery of Vladimir Lenin images from both memory and live sketches. The artist witnessed Lenin speaking at meetings in 1918 and painted him at the sessions of the 2nd Comintern Congress in 1920.
