2017年9月24日 · Maglite at one time was an innovator in flashlights. They were very slow to adapt to LEDs and even still don't match heat sinking and beam tint that are found in most new lights. They rest on their name and durability to sell lights which is unfortunate because they could offer so much more without losing their great features.

So a 2C/D Maglite gave the impression of being a lot brighter that lights before it. The super reliable switch helped. But the 7D just did not catch on. 3 or 4 cells really caused a stir.

2011年12月9日 · Although looking at the Maglite site, the Xenon ones seem to be putting up some very stout cd figures, e.g. 3D Xenon 16,280cd 6D Xenon 28,547cd Are they really as good as they look on paper? I don't recall the old krypton ones being anywhere close. In fact I tried a 6D bulb on 7.2v but only managed 4500cd!

I think it restores it back to full output again. Also your measured lumens seem quite high compared to the rated specs of 172 lumens.

2008年1月17日 · The Maglite 'C' flashlights have a switch cover with a panther head embossed on them. They go in one of two ways to make sure the head faces the correct way. The 'D' lights switch cover can go in any way. Make sure the switch is centered in the opening.
