In the closing days of the Korean War, the staff of the 4077 M*A*S*H Unit find themselves facing irrevocable changes in their lives. En route to R&R, Hawkeye is flagged down by a North Korean soldier who holds him at gun point, forcing him to treat his wounded comrade. Back in camp, the officers change partners in a bridge tournament.

When Hawkeye is trying to talk Klinger out of re-enlisting in the Army, he mentions how Klinger once made his own wings to fly out of camp.
