2023年2月26日 · I use Facebook Messenger on Windows 10. Whenever I am in a call on Facebook every other application I am using (games, chrome (youtube in particular), discord, etc) I can barely hear anything else and have to end call for it to sound normal again.

2023年4月8日 · Hey I came here from a google search and this was the top result. For future reference of anyone else who came to this with the same issue, it's not Messenger doing it. It's Windows. Go to Settings > Sound > More Sound Settings. Click the "Communications" tab. Set 'When Windows detects communication activity' to 'Do Nothing.'

2018年10月8日 · I have the default Messenger app on windows 10. The page - contacts - sending written messages is all fine. But when it comes to make and/or receive a call - I get a small icon showing the pic of who I'm call - so camera's working fine but no sound. When I click to expand to full screen - I get a message saying to check my sound settings.

2019年10月22日 · several months ago I got a call through facebook messenger on my windows 10 laptop (using google chrome) and everything worked fine. Made few more calls after that and everything worked and audio was very clear on my external speakers. A week ago I got a call from the same facebook user and he could hear me but I could NOT hear any audio.
