The City of Mill City is located at the base of the Cascade Mountain range in the historic North Santiam Canyon. The City is subdivided by the scenic North Santiam River; north of the river is Marion County and south or the river is Linn County.

Law Enforcement & Police Services The City of Mill City contracts with the Linn County Sheriff's Office for law enforcement. The Sheriff's office maintains a Mill City Substation at City Hall; 444 S 1st Avenue in Mill City.
