2012年12月23日 · So, currently I'm working on this castle, it's my first large build, and I think it's going pretty well, but I'm not quite sure how to make the entrance accessible. As you can see, I currently have a tiered, escape ladder-type stairway leading up to it, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a better, low-impact design that I could use.

Step Eleven: Head over to the entrance and build an eight-block high wall and leave a space for a door in the center. Step Twelve: Heighten the two entrance towers to any height you desire and fill in the roof. Step Thirteen: Begin placing windows around the castle’s walls and use wooden blocks to replicate that of a drawbridge.

2011年12月13日 · What we have designed so far is the outer wall towers, as well as the entrance gate, picture below. We are in development of the dining hall now. The castle is not supposed to be a giant's castle, but more, a massive and imposing castle, but still inhabited by normal people. 12 high walls, 34 high at the tip of the tower.

2013年8月9日 · This isn't the best screen shot, but a combination of oak & spruce logs with stone button studs looks nice for a large castle door. (ignore the ugly, half-finished castle please) You can't use this style as an entrance though unless you build a hidden piston door into the wood. But that's not too hard to do.

2011年12月9日 · I've been working on a castle/fortress for about two days now by myself. This is what I have so far. The castle itself is not full yet, but the entrance and the tower are filled. 2011年9月16日 · Any plans on creating a step by step tutorial on a small or large scale castle? We see so many posted on the forums but I honestly can't build one that looks decent to save my life and most of the ones you see are straight up in down cobblestone walls that new players put up just to keep the zombies out and look down laughing at creepers but no real design.
