2010年1月18日 · Guys, I need input - last year I was using 1" muzzy 4 blade (the blue ones) broadheads and at 20 yds the flight difference was about a 1" drop. I figured I could adjust for that, no problem. This year I needed some new broadheads and couldn't find any of those, so I got the MX 1-1/8" (the red ones). Both 100 gr. Shooting a Horton Summit 150.

2006年10月17日 · The very first time I attempted to assemble the Muzzy 3 blades I had some trouble like you! After some practice I got the hang of it and don't have any problems with them now! I know your frustrations, I thought they (Muzzy 3 blades) were likened to the Chinese nail and ring puzzles I got at Christmas as a kid! I hated them too!:rant:

2011年10月27日 · Hey man,, don't blame the BroadHead,, It's shot placement every time that counts!!! After years of experience with pretty well all broadheads it's G5 Montec for me with Hellrazors second and the Muzzy 3 blade 100gr next. 100gr in all heads. Please remember like the man said above many times. Shot placement is the KEY. Wishing you well this season

2009年12月18日 · Good to hear guys. I shoot muzzy 100gr 4blades. It is getting harder and harder to find the 100gr. The 90gr are everywhere nowdays. I might have to make the switch sometime in the future when they phase out the regular 100gr 4blades. IMO Muzzy is trying to move toward their new MX line of heads. As for me, I won't shoot anything but a Muzzy ...

2012年9月26日 · i switched to the 100 gr. mx-3's from the 125gr. muzzy's when i used to shoot them and thats exactly what i discovered...less surface area on the broadhead required less tuning for a perfect arrow flight...i think that youd find out that mechanical heads will fly even better than COC on crossbows because the expandables are built for speed

2022年8月8日 · Is it true Muzzy's are now made in China? If so, I'm going to go with the Montecs I think. At around $40.00 for a package of 3 to try, thinking maybe should have just stayed with the Rage and Durable Broadheads for Crossbow Bolts, but I understand they are now made in China too. Trying to stick with Made in USA.

2011年9月27日 · I was told that it might be the longer blades of the traditional muzzys causing it to plane. It was suggested to try a head with a shorter blade, like the slick tricks, even in just 125grain. Or the Muzzy MX3, which is a short blade that supposedly acts more like a field point, but still has some cutting diameter.

2006年10月26日 · Never shot these before but was in the local Wal-mart and seen some on clearance. There was two 3 packs left at $9 a pack so I bought them both. Regular price was $18. These are 125 grain three blade. Not really looking into swiching real soon but nice to have some backups to my Thunderheads at...
