2013年1月15日 · I don't see any difference in the way PUI makes covers now. If anything, they are more puffy than the originals. I put the PUI covers in my 68 Chevelle 10 yrs ago, and they were just as puffy as the originals, and very well made. I also don't see any difference between the PUI's and Legendary's. 2019年9月30日 · Luckily I obtained a vinyl sample from PUI beforehand and it didn't come close to matching the Legendary seat cover color, so I went with Legendary door panels which did match their covers. BTW my rear seat still had the original Parchment cover on it (before recovering) and the Legendary cover was a much closer match in color, vinyl thickness ...

2008年4月7日 · PUI has a 'flatter' look to it, and a harder feel, while Legendary's is supple and padded more like the originals. I'm taking my originals out now that are in pretty good condition except for the faded color on the parchment seat covers, so I have the originals for my comparison as well. PUI is OK, but Legendary is superior AND has a warranty.

2012年4月12日 · Just installed a PUI interior on a 66. The front of the bucket seat was sewn in a way that left a fold where it should have been flat. i took a pic. To me it wasn't a big deal and I come to expect this from PUI. But if I had a 50k Chevelle, they would be getting it back.

2020年9月23日 · I took Rambo’s previous review of the three into consideration - Legendary, TMI and PUI. Crunch time before a car show so Legendary was out of the question due to lead times. I went with TMI for the seats and headliner, American Cushion buns, PUI door panels and was completely satisfied with everything.

2013年3月24日 · I've used both legendary and PUI and they both have their pros and cons. The legendary seat covers seem to be more correct than the flat PUI's, but the PUI Platinum door panels are the bomb. :yes: legendary is based in New York and it shows with their employee's attitudes. :sad: I just put a set of legendary door panels in a '69 last summer.

2015年3月24日 · Legendary Auto Interiors makes the best seat covers & door panels on the market today for Chevelles. PUI isn't even close in quality when compared side by side IMO. PUI are decent if you are on a budget, or building a car with plans to resell. But, if you are looking for the best, then Legendary is what you want.

2012年2月13日 · I used PUI door panels as well as rear seat panels. I also re-covered my 66 buckets with PUI seat covers and I cant complain about the fit and quality. Even today, they still look nice. I do plan to use Legendary for the interior on my 69 though. Ive heard good things and have been intrested in trying them out for several years now.

2013年1月16日 · I just did a set of PUI 1970 covers (covers date of mfg was July 2012), and while they are much better than the distinctive industries which are still totally flat, the PUI was still flatter than the original was. Looked exactly like the PUI 1970 covers i installed 3 years ago.
