2014年3月8日 · My Petsmart is hit and miss and it depends wholeheartedly on the type of fish you're buying from them. Case in Point: I have 10 Columbian Tetra 's all bought from Petsmart. They are some of the healthiest fish I've ever seen and a couple of them are pushing three inches, far beyond the 2 to 2 1/2" max.

2019年5月4日 · I have a Petsmart right across the street from a Pet Supplies Plus a mile away, then a LFS in the next town. I don't get critters from the LFS very often because I was concerned about the 20 minutes in a bag in the car vs 3 minutes.

2021年3月6日 · Individual store. In my small city, I surprisingly have 6 Petco, 4 Petsmart, and 5 LFS writhin 15-30 minutes from one another. I’ve been to all of them. The best is a Petsmart and Petco. The Worst is a Petsmart followed by a LFS. Then there is everything in between. LFS doesn’t mean the best.

2017年1月1日 · I can’t say a ton about PetCo, but I do work for PetSmart. I am a Pet Care Associate and I have been stationed to work with the fish. Not a lot of people know exactly what goes on “behind the fish wall” and many people just stick to listening to rumors and agreeing with each other that the company as a whole must hate fish or mistreats them.

2024年5月1日 · First, PetSmart and other chains stores are there to sell and make money. They are not the ones to listen too. They are both males, should never be housed together or as a pair. They likely are adults, at least 5 years or probably more The enclosures they sell is too small for adult Russians. They need a minimum of a 4x8 foot enclosure.

2010年10月21日 · These 'Petsmart' endlers won't be mixing with my Pure 'N' class Black Bar Endlers. If you want to keep or breed pure 'Wild type' Endlers you can usually get them online but check first that the seller is a registered keeper/breeder of pure Endlers (check them out at Endlers-USA.com where there is a registry).

This is why usually fish are a little more pricey at LFS or indivudually owned stores than chain stores. If petco is selling guppies for $2 each, you know they most likely paid 10 cents for that fish and if they pay 10 cents for it, I highly doubt that is a good ...
