2022年3月26日 · The EFIs ran so much better. I drove a Horizon with a 2.5L EFI/5-speed. Very torquey & quick. I never got to drive a Shelby turbo GLH or GLHS. I think the 1989s got a drivers side airbag, redesigned dash and rear shoulder belts. That was as far as the L-car structure could go and the P-car Shadow/Sundance took over.

The Horizon was meant to be Chrysler’s world car, but the car only got as far as Poissy and Detroit. It did not even get to Ryton-on-Dunsmore in the U.K. The Horizon was designed and engineered in France with torsion bar suspension, but Detroit re-engineered it with MacPerson struts for the North American market.

2017年7月15日 · I have a 1984 Plymouth Horizon Shelby Engine 2.2L High Output- it was an option only in 1984. I haven't confused with the Omni GLH or the Shelby Charger. The VIN matches to the high output Horizon, I also have the original receipt for the vehicle with the high output option. The only production numbers I have been able to find total 84 created.
