2024年9月25日 · I've always had good luck with the Brenneke Classic Magnum. Shot out of a Winchester 1200 smoothbore "slug" barrel I could keep shots on a 8" paper plate at 50 yards. Couldn't find a single pumpkin ball slug that would hold any accuracy. Rifle accuracy NO, but groups were consistant without any fliers.

2016年11月7日 · Cheek riser height depends on optic size and face shape. Skinny optics and pumpkin shaped heads don't need cheek risers A high-power huge objective scope requires a taller mount. Couple that w/ a skinny head/small cheekbones and you need a riser.

2021年9月7日 · You have to go in deep and be in the right place at the right time. There is plenty of deer but they cover a large geographic area. If you show up on opening day and go in a few hundred yards it will look like a pumpkin patch and is anything but safe in my opinion. If I hunt the watershed it is mid week and/or late season.
