If the “threat portion” has been successfully deleted you can select allow from the selection offered in the Defender options safely( this simply allows the file to exist after the infection was deleted) or you can delete the source file that had the infection( by visiting the location listed against the remediation incomplete message )

2024年2月19日 · I didn't even know Windows Defender would scan inside ISO files. Either way, I manually deleted the ISO file from my system. Now my Windows Defender is stuck in a bad state. It still says these malicious files exist, but any attempt to quarantine/remove/allow the file results in "Remediation Incomplete."
