2024年7月19日 · Seborrheic (seb-o-REE-ik) dermatitis is a common skin condition that mainly affects your scalp. It causes scaly patches, inflamed skin and stubborn dandruff. It usually affects oily areas of the body, such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

For seborrheic dermatitis: Adults, teenagers, and children 12 years of age and older—Apply to the affected area of the skin and the surrounding area once a day for 2 weeks. Children younger than 12 years of age—Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.

Seborrheic dermatitis causes a rash with yellowish and somewhat "oily" scales. In addition to the scalp, seborrheic dermatitis can occur on the sides of the nose, in and between the eyebrows, and in other oil-rich areas.
