The Shawnee Mission School District (SMSD) Aquatic Center facility serves local students and the entire community. This service is made possible through a partnership between the school district, Johnson County Parks and Recreation, and the City of Lenexa.

The Shawnee Mission School District is partnered with Johnson County Park & Recreation District (JCPRD) to build a state-of-the-art Aquatic Center, located near 87th Street and Renner Road in Lenexa. The facility opened to the public in January.

Membership cards must be presented at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center welcome desk to gain entry. Johnson County Park & Recreation District communications may come in the form of emails, phone calls and addressed letters.
