Go to the game’s settings in Steam and enable “show in VR” On the same page add the flag “-vr” to the games’s launch parameters. You can now launch the game from Steam VR. This is also how I launch certain games (Tetris Effect from the Epic Store for example) from Virtual Desktop since it only scans your Steam and Oculus libraries.

Items posted in this Workshop under the Items to Curate tab aren't immediately usable in Virtual Desktop. The developers are looking to the community to rate up items they would most like to see made available to buy or unlock within Virtual Desktop. Ultimately, the developers choose which items to select and add to Virtual Desktop.

Virtual Desktop is the clear choice. It is far better if for no other reason that it doesn't have horrendous foveated encoding like Steam link uses which creates a micro sized sweetspot, effectively killing one of the main points in even using the Quest 3.

2022年7月16日 · If you are running virtual desktop it is simply a replacement for Oculus air link (which, in my opinion, virtual desktop as much more stable). You're still relying on steamvr via either option. Open composite is an alternative to the steam VR layer that uses fewer resources but is a bit more technical to set up.
