2023年3月7日 · After taking it to two Subaru dealerships and the 4X4 shop that installed the lift kit. It was diagnosed as a failing CV joint and tie rod bolt had loosened. Head technician said due to the extreme angle due to the lift (only 2 inches) was causing the CV to fail. They said modifications should have been made to better align the axle.

2021年1月3日 · I can’t say that I’ve ever known anyone that did a ~1” lift that was happy with it (unless they were just doing it as a “leveling” kit to fix suspension sag). I get your driveline angle concerns. I’ve dealt with that for previous vehicles. Personally...I’ll never lift another daily driver. Just my two cents.

2022年5月6日 · oh, "Ironman" is the better lift because your articulation (added strut length) compliments the changes your vehicle will need when it gets the lift. IMHO Guy who has built ground up drag cars, restored classics, tubbed 80"s cars, rebuilds tranny's, engines and "she sheds" and expects a lot from people.
