The 3 orange cables are that power going from the inverter to the motor. Tesla puts the inverter and motor together in the drive unit so they can share cooling and have a short cable run.

I'd like to keep it some what original so I don't really want to do a LS swap and all that. I was kind of thinking of swapping in the HT383E Chevy has that's a "direct" replacement for these trucks.

2022年5月29日 · TBH I don't think I would buy it as a crate engine anyway, I'd rather go for the 5.2L Aluminator. I feel like it'll take abuse better. It also makes the GT350 more unique, not offering it as a crate engine. The TR3160 on the other hand, would love that as a crate transmission option.

2020年1月15日 · I've heard mumblings of mid 120s tq at the wheel. Which in all honesty is fair numbers for meeting EPA requirements along the way and capable being under the factory warranty while doing so.
