2005年9月14日 · I did all of my medical school training at The University of Queensland. It is the largest medical school in Australia. An honest assessment would rank it 3rd in prestige among Australian medical schools, with Melbourne Uni and Sydney Uni arguing it out for number 1 & 2.

Most PDs don't have time to dig through individual US schools, so expecting them to understand the differences in foreign medical schools is ludicrous. Bottomline, go US MD/DO if you want to practice in the US.

I don t understand how Ochsner Medical Center being approved as a contributory medical institution by the AMC in Australia makes any difference.
