Even with the conveniences of technology, finding the right car is an awful gauntlet of wasting time with bad leads or watching good ones slip away. I wish you luck with your journey.

2023年1月2日 · I used Auto Tempest a lot, and really appreciated the "Great Deal," "Good Deal," "Fair Deal" labels on sites linked there (like Car Gurus). Ended up purchasing through Facebook Marketplace, but learned a lot from what I saw on Auto Tempest and its related sites.

You are better off first deciding the exact model and specification first and then just searching through all the major sites from Craigslist, to cat gurus, auto trader, for the best price. Craigslist is still the best for private party if you can find an actual private party seller.

Autotempest aggregates most used car sites, autotrader is only big one not on their list. Facebook Marketplace is the best for private sales. Reply reply

2024年1月6日 · Yeah I definitely agree buying private is where the better deals are, just gotta make sure you’re careful! Because you’re open to private I would add eBay to the list. I’ve bought a car off eBay and was able to meet the seller and car before finalizing purchase.

It doesn't include all the other cars sites that AutoTempest does, but you can be much more specific with your craigslist searches there, while still searching a larger area than the 200-mile radius supported by craigslist itself.

2020年11月28日 · You can easily buy a car for 15-20K DKK, but then it will have a 3-4K “green tax” to be paid each half a year. The cars that have a cheap half-year green tax (500-1000 DKK) cost 50K+ for the very small ones and 70K+ for the more comfortable ones.
