2015年2月18日 · Accuracy on factory rifles is on a case by case basis imo. But I'd double check the barrel twist on Winchesters in 264 Win. They can be pretty slow so you might not be able to shoot the heavier bullets. Good luck!. BTW I love Winchester model 70's.

2021年7月18日 · All of our model 70s are pretty decent shooters for being lightweight. 1 inch three shot groups with certain factory ammo or under 1 inch with handloads. Federal cheap powershock 130 grain are the cheapest and best shooting we have found. Ours don't seem to like hornady factory ammo and are closer to 2 inch groups. They warm up fast.

2012年6月12日 · Would anyone off hand know the stock barrel contour of model 70's? I have a post 64 model 70 in 338wm that I'm planning on rebarreling to 7rem mag I'm not planning on doing anything fancy with this rifle. Mostly a backup rifle for myself or the kids. I want to keep the factory stock so keeping the same barrel contour would be nice. Thanks
