2022年2月15日 · For me I use OneDrive so signing into the wrong OneDrive account would mess up my cloud data. I have all my accounts synced to my PC on Windows 11. If you did a clean install then no local data should be affected. Just switch over to the other account in the start menu after you add the account. "Dell" has a local account on my PC also.

I the looked at the task manager and noticed a process called Service Host:Web Account Manager using most of the CPU capacity. See below. If I stop the process, the fan slows down, the applications and internet browser return to their normal self. But, when I restart the machine, this Web Account Manager returns along with the degraded performance.

When I click my username on the start menu, an ads-like "Account Manager" shows up instead of the menu "Switch account" and "Sign out". I REALLY HATE this new popover. I don't care about Microsoft 365 and "cloud space". I just want to use my computer.
