Wisconsin's state parks and forests protect the most beautiful parts of the state, offering some of the best trails for exploring the outdoors. Whether hiking for a short distance or a multi-day excursion, hikers can find more than 2,700 miles of trail at Wisconsin state park properties.

Camping opportunities at Wisconsin State Park System properties include standard and group campsites, indoor group camps, backpack and water access sites and equestrian campgrounds. There are also accessible campsites and cabins for persons with disabilities.

Grab a scavenger hunt at the Nature Center before heading out to explore Wisconsin’s only state forest. Make sure to stop back for Slither Walk Hop at 1 p.m. to see the Animal Ambassadors eat their lunches. Activities are open to the public as well as scouts, their friends and families.
