2020年9月20日 · For common day to day tasks, the iPad processors have out distanced the software for years. I had a 3rd gen iPad Air with A12 and 3GB RAM, and now have a 7th gen iPad with A10 and 3GB RAM. Honestly, for my purposes, I didn’t notice a difference in performance. If you have a 6th gen or older with 2 GB RAM or less, the upgrade might be worth it.

2023年11月21日 · iPadOS 17 obliterating the device. It’s what always happens. I have a 9.7-inch iPad Pro on iOS 12 and a family member has a 6th-gen iPad on iOS 12, and they’re perfect with no such issues. Good call buying a new one - there’s no other solution.

Also I reached out to apple and they confirmed that the cases that worked with 6th gen would work with the 7th gen. I would alap assume (and hope) all third party cases work as the dimensions between both gens are identical.

2022年11月26日 · The mini 6 for the same price as a 10th gen base iPad is a tough call, but I voted mini 6. Not because that's the one I currently have, but because it's much closer to a mini iPad Air than a mini iPad. You're just getting a lot more for your money, and if you want an Apple Pencil later on, there's always a deal somewhere on the gen 2.
