2024年2月23日 · You bought a deep cycle that are designated as trolling motor batteries. Deep cycles generally come in three sizes: 24, 27, and 31. I'm guessing your Fortrex would require at least two of them (24 volt). The title of your thread says "which trolling motor battery" so I'm slightly confused if you're looking for those or a cranking battery.

2015年5月7日 · The proper charge rate is 10% of the rated capacity. Which in the battery world that is considered a slow charge. 115 Ah battery would be charged with a 10-12 amp charger. A 75 Ah battery would use a 6-8 amp charger.

Looking on Walmart's website I see they have a group 27DC deep cycle marine battery for around $95.00, that is rated for around 100 amp hours (which seems a bit optimistic to me....I would believe maybe 75 amp hrs. at best) .

2011年10月18日 · For starter/house battery see what the recommended MCA or CCA amps are for your motor and take electronics connected to the battery and usage throughout the day. Regardless of what battery you choose always recharge on a quality charger within 10 hours of coming off the water and make sure you check water levels regularly on flooded cell batteries.

2011年11月5日 · I have used them for years. Both for starting, and two big deep cycle for my 24V trolling motor. If you keep them charged, they should last for 3-5 years. The Everstart batteries that Walmart sells are the same manufacturer that makes Motorcraft for Ford, with different decals. For a low price battery, they are decent.

2017年3月5日 · I have gone through a bunch of deep cycle batteries now with my trolling motor + canoe and along the way gained a great respect for things like battery maintenance, storage, and overall info I didn't know before. When I first started I was kind of clueless- left batteries in hot cars or freezing garages, didn't re-charge promptly, etc.
