Fundy National Park has five front country campgrounds, each providing a unique camping experience. You will find amenities such as washrooms, showers, electrical, sewer and water hookups all within close proximity to other Park services and facilities.

When the Bay of Fundy’s massive tides recede, they leave behind a vast intertidal zone – endless mudflats where a wide variety of sea creatures make their home. Pick your way through fields of mud, sand and seaweed to discover barnacles, rock crabs, dog whelk sea snails, limpets, periwinkles and other crustaceans.

Anyone booked for backcountry camping in Fundy National Park from May to October is invited to sign up for our Backcountry with Bats program. We will loan you a bat monitoring kit once you check in for your camping stay.

Due to its function as a recreational pool within Fundy National Park of Canada, the Saltwater Pool and Bathhouse are conspicuous landmarks within the park and familiar within the community of Alma and Albert County, New Brunswick.

Fundy National Park is located on the southeast coast of New Brunswick, along the 250-kilometre-long Bay of Fundy. It’s easily accessible by car from several local cities, including the capital Fredericton (two-hour drive), Saint John (1.5-hour drive) and Moncton (one-hour drive).

The Goose River Trail offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Fundy as it winds through a coastal spruce forest, crossing small streams and valleys to reach the serene Goose River Valley.
