2020年1月3日 · First off i know about not overloading headers in order to avoid frying things,but the thing is i can't really find out how much ampere a AIO's header rgb (or this one's in particular) uses. The argb headers on the Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero are 3A (5V) each, as per the instructions manual coming with the board.

Bought this board last month and have found that this header on the motherboard seems to be defective. Any 5v ARGB cable I try to plug into it (accessory/ 5v LED strip, fan, hub/controller) is loose/wobbly and any connected devices do not light up properly. It only lights up Yellow/Green/Blue and appears to be "breathing".

2019年8月25日 · According to MSI B450 Pro Carbon AC I was looking at it has J_RGB (12V 4-pin RGB), J_Rainbow (5V 3-pin A-RGB) and J_Corsair (dunno the specifics but A-RGB pin for Corsair products lol). Then Gigabyte has a completely different 3-pin A-RGB header. Last I checked they ditched it in favour of same 3-pin ARGB header others (ASUS, MSI) use.

2021年7月14日 · Pull the plastic thing off. do the pins on the cable you have fit over the pins? If so, you will have to trace the wires on the lead and make sure they are in the right order or you might kill the board. I have added a pic showing the pin out on the aRGB header on the board, so when you connect it, it needs to be 5-5 DI-DI GND-GND
