Charles Lee "Chucky" Ray is the main antagonist of the Child's Play horror franchise. Chucky is portrayed as a vicious serial killer who, as he bleeds out from a gunshot wound, transfers his soul into a "Good Guy" doll and continually tries to transfer it to a human body.

On November 9th, 1988, Charles Lee Ray is chased down after a failed robbery, by detective Mike Norris. After he is fatally shot, his partner in crime Eddie decides to bail and drives away in the getaway van, despite Charles' pleas.
