Not even taking as prescribed, (I thought that was the reason toleance built up so fast was the ##mg. 2 x daily)

Apr 6, 2008 · Actually, you're better off taking morphine orally. Intranasal morphine has a bio-availability of around 10%, but the oral bio-availability is around 30%. Even with no tolerance, 30mg isn't that much. Try taking a little more. I find morphine to be somewhat over-rated. I'd take almost any semi-synthetic opioid over morphine given the choice.

May 6, 2013 · nasal is only better if the BA is higher than oral. for morphine, intranasal BA is like 15-25%, while oral is 30-40%. insnuffilation will pass by the first past metabolism, but morphine's poor lipid solubility makes it inefficient for nasal use; wont dissolve through the mucous membrane easily so much is just lost or swallowed (Drip)

Jun 10, 2004 · Ok I'm now on these for chronic pain but im on 60mg SR Morphine and 15mg IR (No gel instant release) Morphine. Even the instant release take some trickiness and a good micron filter to shoot. The time release is worthless to even try and if you DO get it right to where it's at least shootable with effects.

Nov 19, 2008 · like i said my morphine is by far the best pain killer they ahve given me yet. I like it even more than my oxycodone for pain relief properties. When it comes to getting high my oxycodone is much better for cathing a buzz. The morphine seriously seems to do nothing more than take away my legit pain problems. So i absolutely love morphine for that.

Sep 20, 2015 · I'm taking morphine sulfate ER 15 mg twice a day. With these ER drugs, I understand that they're designed to stay in the body for long. When looking up the half life for morphine, it would only refer to the morphine itself without factoring the ER delivery system. So I cannot find reliable info for my question.

Aug 18, 2020 · The only ER I've had luck with is Embeda, which is pulled from the market. I get 15 this week - literally the last in my pharmacy regional area. I've been on Morphabond. Not a good warm feeling at all, but no w/d either. These are legit scripts. So since both Embeda and Morphabond are now unavailable, the doc is swapping to Morph-Sulfate ER.
